The heyday of secret society meetings was in the nineteenth century, but even now the interest of the secular public in mystical rituals and rites is not fading. And today, at the meeting of the company’s secret society, only a select few gathered.
The location was kept secret until the last moment. Each guest of the evening received an envelope with a code that had to be deciphered to find out the date, place and time of the event. From the very first minutes, we created a mysterious atmosphere, giving each guest the opportunity to feel like a member of a ‘world conspiracy’. The guests were met on the street by people dressed in black robes, hiding their faces under their hoods. They would carry lanterns. Each guest had to undergo an initiation ceremony and swear to keep the secrets of the society forever.
We decorated the hall in a luxurious and mysterious way. Skulls, copper candlesticks, flasks, busts of the greats of that era. The hanging sounded mesmerising. The guests were offered various themed interactives and quests – from playing corkscrew and chess to creating their own unique perfume and learning the dances of that era. When the evening ended, guests placed all written materials in a vase with fire at the entrance. Not a single secret of the secret society left the temple.
