The Wedding 2.0 project started 10 years after the wedding. A man wanted to make a gift to his beloved wife 10 years after the wedding. Back then, on such an important day for them, everything went wrong, and 10 years later he decided to go back in time and this time organise the wedding of her dreams! Being in different countries and communicating mainly with the client by phone, we managed to keep the intrigue for the bride until the last moment. Organising a wedding when the client is a man is different from a wedding where all the nuances of the celebration depend on the woman’s wishes. We talked about how wedding organisation differs if the customer is a man in our blog.

We often hear the question: What do you need for a perfect wedding? And we answer: ‘Love is all that is required from you. Everything else is our job!’ A loving husband wants to congratulate his wife on their anniversary. An endless number of surprises and gifts from dawn to dusk! A cosy family atmosphere, a ceremony, the closest friends and lots of surprises. The task was complicated by the distance. Only 3 meetings in six months!

SOLUTIONS

Many surprises were planned for the bride. As soon as she opened her eyes, the first gift was already waiting for her under the windows – a luxurious white Lamborghini! The children were delighted with this surprise.
The hotel and restaurant complex ‘City Holiday Resort and Spa’ perfectly combined all the wishes of the customer. Swimming pool, cosy rooms, restaurant, playgrounds, SPA and a park for a family photo shoot. The next surprise was already waiting for them in the room – costumes for the children and husband and a charming sky-blue dress for the wife.

An unusual task fell on the shoulders of photo and video operators. In addition to the main task of conducting a family photo shoot and filming, they also had to distract the bride while we, the organisers, met the couple’s friends and escorted them through the back door to the venue for the offsite wedding ceremony. We managed to track down the master of ceremonies who had performed the painting 10 years earlier. Everything was ready for the main surprise of the day!

This evening was also unique thanks to the host, Andrey Merzlikin. We thought of every detail! We reminded the couple how they met, how they fell in love and how they decided to start a family. All guests were happy to participate in fun contests while their children, accompanied by animators, had fun on the playground.
The cover band Comics added to the fun and relaxing atmosphere of the day. The first dance of the newlyweds, the moment when the groom sang a song for his beloved… Music is really one of the main components of the evening’s atmosphere!
A wedding anniversary is more than just details. It is a magical feeling of love, care and boundless happiness! This is what we call a perfect wedding!

Before we talk about the details, we should make a reservation that our celebration was really special. From the very beginning, it was conceived as a surprise wedding, and you’ll agree that it’s not easy to do it both efficiently and secretly! The idea to ‘repeat’ our wedding on the 10th anniversary of the first event seemed to me unusual and, at the same time, exciting! So, the bride didn’t know anything, and the Diamond staff and I started thinking about and implementing our creative ideas with trepidation. It should be clarified here that I was outside Ukraine (I work abroad) and could only afford to attend meetings 1-2 times a month. However, Victoria and Tatyana understood (or rather felt) my mood and my confused wishes.
Almost all of their suggestions were accepted unconditionally from the first meeting. The girls from Diamond have an amazing ability, in addition to their professional qualities, to assess and select people by their temperament and way of thinking. We didn’t get to see all of them, who were involved in the organisation of the wedding, but what these people did was flawless! I couldn’t help but feel like ‘it’s amazing, because I wanted it that way!’. Everything, from the selection of the venue, floristry, decor and design of the photo zone, to the music and hosts of the ceremony and banquet, was exactly as we wanted! And the most amazing thing is that we didn’t know what exactly we wanted (and the bride didn’t know at all), but when we saw what was done, we couldn’t help but feel that everything was I-DE-DE-AL-NO! Of course, one of the main components of the event is ALWAYS the work of the hosts!

We were lucky to have both a master of ceremonies and a host at the banquet. The official and, at the same time, reverent speech at the ceremony did not leave any of the guests indifferent, not to mention the ‘newlyweds’. Tears of joy are still flowing even now, when I remember those moments… The solemn and touching part of Valentina Poplavskaya’s speech was followed by the intelligent and charming Andrey Merzlikin. The presenter with a great sense of humour and tact, who subtly feels the audience, stayed with us until the very end of the event. Andrey’s quizzes and contests will remain in our hearts and in the images of our photos for a long time. Special attention should be paid to the work of the bartender, DJ and cover band…

These people did not just do their job. They treated each guest with a ‘heart’ and made our festive evening (here I wanted to write ‘unforgettable’, but the trick is that I don’t remember about 30% of the event because I was drunk with green Mexicans))), so simply: ‘They made our evening’)! We can list endlessly important aspects and small details of our celebration, but it is worth noting the main thing: the work of the organisers and performers left us with only positive memories. The work of Tatiana and Victoria made it possible not only to organise a difficult event in a clear and high-quality manner. Their work left us with a desire to come up and hug all those who were with us that day. We got not just a good and high-quality holiday. We felt like we were among friends. And this shows that people work with their hearts! Having many years of management experience, I rarely give advice or direct recommendations. However, this time I confidently declare: ‘Diamond Event Agency – I RECOMMEND!’
